Looking for Co-Webmaster(s)
Written by Bane
Friday, 14 March 2008

Hey guys

Some of you may have noticed recently that the site hasn't been updated as regularly as it once used to be, unfortunately with the band I'm in now and everything else going on I now no longer have enough time to dedicate to this site. I was thinking of shutting it down but keeping the forums open but then thought that may be a bit of a waste.

And so I'm looking for ghouls to help on the site, keep it upto date so we can maintain being the best Wednesday 13 fan site on the net.

There are a few certain things you should take into consideration before saying you are up for it...

- Must be able to use Joomla or at least have past experience with Joomla or some sort of other CMS (Content Management System)

- Have fairly good knowledge of web sites or at least a grasp, if you have any past or current experience with web design then show me

- Knowledge of FTP etc

- Must be able to write in perfect English, this includes spelling, grammar, punctuation etc

- Have a slight obsession with Wednesday 13

- Must be dedicated!

If you are interested and meet the qualifications listed above then send an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

I'm also looking for someone to help run the MySpace page, that doesn’t require as much effort. You basically just need to be good with MySpace, editing profiles, some HTML knowledge. All your job will require is that you update the blog with any updates from the site as well as keeping information on the myspace profile upto date and current.

Thanks xxx

Also, if you get a chance check out the band in HERE :)

Wednesday 13 partners with Hot Topic
Written by Bane
Tuesday, 19 February 2008

Wednesday 13 is pleased to announce that his upcoming cd, "Skeletons", will be available exclusively at Hot Topic.

Commented Jon Nelson, Wednesday 13's manager, "Once we decided to self-release Wednesday 13's upcoming music, the next step was to partner with a company that would be excited and support the release. Music retailers are closing their stores at a rapid place, or they are gauging the customers and jacking the prices up for a new release to $14-$17.99. There is no reason for that. We made one call to Hot Topic, and we are extremely excited about this relationship. Hot Topic will be the only brick & mortar store that will be stocking the cd. You will still be able to get the cd online and on tour."

As stated "Skeletons" is Wednesday 13's most personal recording to date. Although still infused with horror overtones, the cd deals with Wednesday's depression, desperation and a struggle that almost caused his untimely demise. Wednesday will self-release "Skeletons" in N. American but will be teaming up with a label for overseas distribution.

An April 29, 2008 release is slated.

Wednesday 13 taps Andrew Alekel to mix Skeletons
Written by Bane
Thursday, 31 January 2008

Wednesday 13 is pleased to announced that he has tapped Andrew Akelel to mix his upcoming release "Skeletons".
Andrew has been a force in the music industry for a number of years. He has worked with such bands as Fu Manchu, No Doubt, Foo Fighters, Rancid, Tiger Army, Tool and Nine Inch Nails.

Commented Wednesday "Originally, I had planned to mix the cd myself. However, given the opportunity to work with someone as talented as Andrew, I had to go with him. I am extremely excited to hear how he adds more life to these songs".

An April 2008 release is slated.

Wednesday 13 Update
Written by Bane
Thursday, 17 January 2008

After a tumultuous 2 years, a serious car accident and some bad business that has come back to haunt him, Wednesday 13 is ready to regain control of his music, his career and his life.

April 2008 Wednesday 13 will release his long awaited full-length, "Skeletons", as well as a new EP entitled "Bloodwork".

The reason for the dual release, is that “Skeletons” is the most introspective release of Wednesday 13's to date. Most of the topics on the release, while having horror overtones, delve into Wednesday 13's personal life, troubles and his self-predicted, eventual demise.

The "Bloodwork EP" will feature some acoustic songs, along with the typical, campy Wednesday 13 music, that did not quite fit the tone of "Skeletons".

The twist on these releases is that Wednesday 13 will self-release the CD's in N. America, but will partner with a label overseas for distribution.

4 1/2 months into negotiating a worldwide deal with some of the key record labels still around, watching the vast changes in the music world, and seeing many artists self-releasing their music, Wednesday 13 decided to follow suit and ended all negotiating. By self releasing his music, Wednesday 13 will be able to keep control of his art, and be able to give more to his fans. No longer will he need to ask permission to do certain things or have to wait 12 –16 months to release new music.

Wednesday 13 kicks off the All American Massacre Tour January 28, 2008 in Miami, Fl. The touring line-up includes Nate Manor, Acey Slade, J-Sin Trioxin and Jonny Chops.
